About the project

A perfect example of how we could design our utility spaces. If only all our shopping precincts looked like this.

The grounds and car park areas were designed and planted by ‘The Botanical Gardener‘, Chris and Bryony Warren together with their team. As they are a London-based firm, Chris approached me to help finish planting and maintain the ground to the highest standard. The company was keen to showcase just how beautiful a public utility space could be. Indeed I agreed and was amazed at the local reception to the gardens from shoppers and passers-by.

As a private garden specialist, it was a privilege to work for The Botanical Gardener in such a unique design.
